As a vet, I think anyone in uniform who willfully violates a lawful order be it written or verbal for any reason should be prosicuted and be held accountable for thier actions. Being an office this is especially true as you first lead by example. This guy should be sent immedately to the combat  zone, once in country let his CO dish out an appropiate punishment. I served in the cold war and worked with Nuclear Weapons, had anyone tried this stuff back then they would still be in jail. If you  ask me this Dr. Spok book and coddeling our kids, has produced a generation of pansies who think they can choose which orders they will obey. This is not how the miliatry operates, we obey orders no matter how harsh. My personal beliefs never came into play when considering if I could arm a Nuke, If told to I would have, and I would of launched my jet to vaporize millions of people. Because I was ordered too, we are not paid to think but to act or react. This  Lt. needs to be made an example of in the harshest manner possible.
