Anyone who signs up in the military knows before they sign that there is a chance in going to war.  So many people see the military as a free ride to college and for some stupid reason they don't think they will ever have to go to war.  Lt. Watada signed up, no one made him sign the dotted line.  There are many chances that you have to get out, but now that they have the degree, suddenly it is not fair that they have to go to war.  Why do Americans think you can get something for nothing?  All of these Hollywood people that protest the war actually need to go over there and see what is happening.  Too many gulliable people think that everything they see on TV is the absolute truth.  The news people rarely report on the good things, just the bad because we all want to  see the bad stuff.

The world looks to America to solve their problems and all the bleeding hearts out there want to give away all our money to other countries, but when they need our military to help them, suddenly we are too excessive in our fighting.  There is nothing pretty about war and it is ugly.  Lt. Watada is sending a message to all up and coming young people who are looking for  a free education.  Join the military and then refuse to fight.  There are so many people that will support you in your fight.

Where is our pride?  Where is Lt. Watada's pride?  Fine, let him not go over, but make him pay back his entire education, and all his expenses that were paid for by the United States and myself.
