Everyone talks about all of these renewable rescources like solar, wind, bio-disel, hybrid cars and suv's. How does this help the ordinary joe that only makes about $50,000 a year? To set up your own wind generator you need about $35,000 to purchase the generator it's self and that doesn't cover the cost of the concrete footings needed to support it's weight. Solar roof shingles another great idea but they cost too much. Why are all of the money saving and the best for the environment ideas so far out of reach for the average Joe? They should take a look at how many average Joes there are out there and realize that they should make these innovative ideas affordable for everyone and not just for the rich. Any feed back about the items listed above that are affordable please let me know. And please don't post back and tell me to recycle more or change my light bulbs because I am currently doing this.
