I understand that there are numerous opportunities to point out flaws with information received by tonight's broadcast, scientists, etc. The point is we are human! We make mistakes with which we can learn from. REGARDLESS of what has been done in the past, there is great opportunity NOW! To think that the information presented tonight was a waste is extremely unthoughtful and misguided. The individuals involved in this research shown tonight are extending their brain cells to us and to our future generations, for which we should be thankful! From what I've collected, I see that the little things can change the WORLD! It's about caring and making a difference by giving back! No matter how minute, CHANGE IS THERE, so we need to do our part! So change a light bulb to one that is coiled, use powerstrips to turn off multiple items that seem to be 'turned off', choose a driving route that makes more right turns, etc. Not many individuals are perfect when it comes to saving our planet, but who is? By adapting some of these methods (or more) into our routines will help just that much more. If you truly think about it, the results could be tremendous! I know that taking part in this earth movement will make me feel a sense of accomplishment!
To leave you thinking, I recalled reading a story quite a while ago about a boy walking on the beach. (I'm not exactly sure how it goes..maybe because I'm human ..lol) The boy sees thousands of fish(or something) about to die because the tide(" ") stranded them on the coast. The boy threw them back into the ocean as fast as he could until his grandpa stopped him by saying that there were too many to possibly make a difference. The boy replied by throwing an additional fish back into the ocean and said, "I made a difference for that one!"
See, it's not so bad after all, is it?
