They do that wearing hard-soled shoes, walking on asphalt, concrete and linoleum, to feel the illusion that they like nature but don't want to get any of it on them, and that they are not a part of it, without which none of us would be here. They still would love to live in a world without plants, animals and any other non-human life. Some don't even like the sun.
