We are all part of the same thing, regardless of what anybody says. We all live, and live only on the "third rock from the sun", like it or not. Like a canary in a coal mine - underground pit - when an animal, even a plant, species becomes so rare that is in danger of extinction, that is a warning to us. Why is it - around and alive for over 8,000 years - going extinct? The answer to that Q will tell us why we may be endangered too, or vulnerable to conditions we don't know about well. Protect our wild animals and our water, air and soil - we might be able to survive by doing that: http://www.bobdylan.com/songs/iandi.html

They do that wearing hard-soled shoes, walking on asphalt, concrete and linoleum, to feel the illusion that they like nature but don't want to get any of it on them, and that they are not a part of it, without which none of us would be here. They still would love to live in a world without plants, animals and any other non-human life. Some don't even like the sun.
