I wonder what our world might look like if the technology used to make a $350.00 kinetic watch, were put into a car. What would our world be like if we did not have to rely on fossil fuels that damage our air our land and our water? What might our world look like if we heeded the warning about the effects of the latest so called renewable energy resource that so many politicians are not thinking through consequences of using corn? All for filling our tanks with gas we will face third world countries starving because the price of corn has already doubled in many third world countries.
Just think of what it might be like if we thought out more positive alternative ideas and acted on them. As a young girl I was so inspired with a technology called the bicycle car in the 70's I did a report for earth day and displayed it to my class that never quite knew how to pass on that thought to engineers who might have been able to create a gearing system that only took a slight motion to set human motion forward.
Will keep overlooking some of the best ideas that could save our planet or will we start listening to some good ideas? I challenge you engineers and inventors to find a way to make technology work. Utilizing kinetic energy or our own gear systems altered and expounded upon will change the face of the auto industry, and our world to find a way to keep our world mobile without being dependant on gas. What would the physical and political landscape of the world look like if we were to listen to making an alternative resource that did not cause further damage and unrest to our world? Don't you wonder?
