Any story Diane Sawyer does is great. I felt she did a great job on the segment about prostitution. She shows empathy, warmth yet was professional. The girl that sang the song was good enough to be on American Idol. I wish that the energy she put into her work on the streets, she pursued towards a singing career. I was angry to see the pimps beat up these girls and take 50% of their money and get away with it. The pimps need to be locked up without them knowing who testified against them. Just as there are shelters for abused women, how about some for prostitutes and skills, so they can get off the streets and out of the brothels? The owner of the brothel should be a shamed of himself, as he was sitting on his big rear end and taking 50% plus food, plus room and clothes. I thought that was what the 50% was for. He is raking in the dough! I cried as I watched those poor girls and the show. I loved the follow up you did on them.
Keep up the good work Diane!
