John Quiñones: Making false calls to 9-1-1 is a crime in the State of New Jersey (where some of your experiments have been filmed) as defined by S-291/A-140 signed into law July 12, 1996. The penalty for making false calls is as follows: This measure makes non-emergency calls to 9-1-1 a disorderly persons offense, punishable by a term of six months in prison and/or a fine of $1000.

Making unnecessary/false/frivolous "911" calls endangers people's lives and property. When a false "911" call is made, it ties up the emergency lines, thereby preventing someone with a real emergency from contacting the emergency service they require. Any delay in re-routing a "911" call to another answering point, brief though it is, is time wasted. Time, even seconds, is often a key factor is saving someone's life or property, and if the emergency service is unnecessarily delayed from getting to where they are needed, the result could be tragedy.

Your segments involving kids vandalizing a car, people hitting a parked car, people beating on a homeless person, and other idiotic "experiments",  caused people to call 9-1-1 to report the incident. These calls tie up the 9-1-1 emergency lines, possibly delaying a "real emergency".

#

You have chosen to abuse the 9-1-1 system by creating incidents that prompt citizens to call 9-1-1 to report these incidents to police, thinking they are being good and caring citizens.

#

The 9-1-1 system is not a toy for you to play with to get film for your program. Mr. Quiñones, you should be arrested and sent to prison for your actions. The fact that you did not make the calls is immaterial. You caused them to be made. You and the 9-1-1 supervisors who assisted in these "experiments" should all be sent to prison.

ABC, PLEASE put a stop to this criminal behavior. Sooner or later, someone is going to be seriously hurt or killed during one of these senseless "experiments". I have reported your violations to the New Jersey Attorney Generals office who were not amused at Quiñones's illegal behavior. Hopefully, they will file charges against ABC and John Quiñones.

9-1-1 calls maybe not right but it may help someone when they do this show it let me know I AM SAFE IN THIS WORLD and guess that  you at would never help if someone would be in danger you sound like someone you woud just care only about yourself

and never give another about someone that is in real danger just care about ranting about reporting someone to someone because that is all you care about is yourself i think he is doing a great job letting me know that if something should happen to me there are people that would help me and i feel safe knowing that i can get help if i should need it
