This doesn't really pertain to anything I've watched lately on Primetime, but.............

I was reading the article on the little girl who was kidnapped, raped and buried alive and it got me wondering if the man who kidnapped the little girl was registered as a sex offender. He had been convicted, but was he registered where he was living. And, if not, why?

I would really like to see you do a show about how many sexual predators are actually registered like they are supposed to be. I know of one in particular who isn't (he is a convicted child molester) and he's in a neighborhood that is crawling with little kids. It would be incredible to find out how many sex offenders are registered like they are supposed to be and if they aren't, why not? Who is keeping an eye on them now? What happens to them if they aren't registered like they are supposed to be? Are they punished? Do they have to return to prison? I would really like to know.

I'm going to guess I'm not the only person who is curious about this. Am I?
