Just as the problems on The View have arisen, I am seeing the same thing happening in families and between friends.   I think there is a need for a show on the increasing political anger in our country.  I get mail from some conservative friends and they are becoming much more extreme and scary.  These are letters that have been forwarded to zillions of people.  I would think that some liberals also send this kind of mail; they just haven't sent them to me.  I was on a mailing list that received downright hate mail between close relatives over gun issues and other conservative causes and it was very sad. Our friends are nice, "normal" people who have been sucked into this very angry sub-culture and they don't even realize it.  I have also seen other close friendships drift apart because walls were put up and because of the illusion that we have some political input.   It is a problem for all of us and I hope that some light can be aimed at this before we have a Civil War.
