While watching the coverage of the Gaza withdrawal, I keep asking myself what would Peters questions be to the various principals, I believe Peter would have asked some pretty interesting questions. And I believe he would have shown appropriate sensitivity to all sides. Its really quite refreshing to see that this nation is capable of considering a man in his sixties as a tragedy. Often times men are pushed out at the first sign of graying. (Although eye candy, that Jennings was--perhaps he is exempt) And thats a shame because men like Jennings, Koppel, Wallace, Brokaw, Bradely, Rather continue to not only be competitive, but to have a certain edge not found in their less seasoned colleagues.

I meant to say--Its refreshing to see that this nation is capable of considering the death of a man in his sixites as a tragedy.
