So I have two children in schools in Addison IL, well at our schools you have kindergarten and 1st graders in one school and then 2nd graders thru 6 grade in another school. Well for me due to budget cuts I was told my son who is in 2nd grade would not be bused. So I have to figuer out how to pick up two kids and two different schools at the same time. But during orentation I was promised that they will be lots of supervison for the children and if we are running late the kids will be put in the office. Traveling to one school to another and with a one year old is not easy so of course I was late just like I knew I was going to be. Well so as I pull up to the school why is my son by the play ground by the back of the building which mind you can walk thru the back of the building and go down the street. Now I stressed to my son he needed to stay right in the front until I came but let be honest he is 7 years old. But what was disturbing was there was three adults out side which were directing traffic not even paying attention to the kids. So if some perv decided to walk by the back building and say hey ure mom told me to pick you up guess what there goes my kid. So I call the district and they tell me longest that there adults 20-25 feet from them then it okay. It dont matter that no one paying attention to them and had there backs to them becasue there were 20-25 feet away because they can't give every child one on one attention. Which I'm not expection but come on these are 2nd graders the yongest children in your school I would think that you would keep your word and watch my son. So the district basically tells me there nothing we can do. Hey it our fault the stupid board of education couldn't but all kids in one school instead of three. No NO it my fault because I have more then one child. But really if something happen to my child what would the excuse be then. I just mad that I didnt take pictures to show. Now I'm stuck because I have to wonder everyday if I'm going to come to school and not see my child waiting for me.
