If Obama wants to make cuts, let’s start in the obvious area that requires it. WELFARE!  Taking money from Medicare is like stealing from the very person who funded this account, not to mention the welfare money they funded with their taxes, when they worked. There is the opportune word........WORKED!  Most of America who is on Welfare never worked a day in their life, or just enough time each year to collect the EIC payment at tax time.

Welfare should be the first thing cut, then maybe there wouldn't be time for crime, unwanted pregnancies, drugs...since they would be to busy working making money the old fashion way and supporting our ageing population, just as they did their ancestors.

What a shame...when will we stand up and take America back?? Enough with the sympathy votes...get a job!

 

They should cut welfare and corporate welfare. We don't need more unplanned pregnancies or Enrons (hid its huge debt with the corporate welfare it received).   Come to think of it, Enron's, WorldCom's and AIG's messes have a lot to do with the economy not recovering.


Why do they put serial single mothers in jail for welfare fraud, but crooks that bankrupted our country walk around free?

They should not give money to women who don't know who the baby's daddy is.

Wait, isn't welfare helping the poor, like unemployment does?  So cutting it a lot might hurt the economy.  But we have to let them know that it can be cut.  Limit it, like they do unemployment.
