There are companies out there like People Search, People Search Now, Intelius, White Pages and many others that are making money off of our personal information.  They are also charging a fee if we want to remove our information from the internet.  This removable of information will only be temporary. They provide information to anyone who will pay regardless if your number is listed or unlisted.  In many cases the information about you and your relatives, home address, age, maiden name etc is free but a cost to you to remove this  information. Our elected officials has yet to provide laws protecting our information from any and everyone who wants the information.  Please write or call your Congress to stop  companies like People Search from placing your personal information on the internet.  If any law official need this information they have other methods of obtaining this information or they should present their license number for verification.
