I've recently heard about the Gulf of Mexico BP Oil spill, and it seems extremely familiar, didn't this happen back in the 90's too, same company, same location?

Or was it Exxon that had the oil spill back in the 90's? But it was the same location, Gulf of Mexico I do believe. How coincidental is that? Is there something going on in that area??

Just me being paranoid, or is there something more to it?
