Dairy cows- Why don't we cut off an appendage of the farmer's w/o a shot or better yet, maybe a lot of animal lovers ought to give up milk for a while.Then we would see
about "production" numbers.I think some farms could be shut down & their milk orders given to humaine farms.How does that farmer treat his dogs? You might want to check !

Dairy farming is based on forced pregnancies and killing calves.  To supply milk that should be for calves to millions of humans requires cows to be continually impregnated, and their calves to be taken from them.  The male calves are used for veal -- and will soon be killed.  If calves (male or female) don't appear healthy, they are killed at birth.  No matter how idyllic farming appears to be, it is inherently cruel.
