Why don't the idiots in congress pass legislation right the first time with the proper controls on the use of the money. The new "smart people" in charge now have done exactly what the "dumb ones" did before and have given billions with no rules evidently and now run around on their high horses spouting about others. What they are doing now is an absolute joke.  You do not violate peoples civil rights by passing special tax rates for certain individuals you don't think should get more money or stand around stating their outrage when they (congress) are the ones that failed to do their job.  I agree that AIG should not be paying bonus money to people who bankrupted the company, but do it in a constitutional way.  This is scary how Obama and congress can start decreeing who can make what and who gets taxed special if they don't like it.  Talk about hypocrisy on civil rights.  Everything is OK to do if the "person" is rich in their eyes as it make great political points in the class warfare being used to gain power.  So, as owners of 78% of the company via the stock grants for the bailout, exert control over compensation plans and bonus plans and fire those who do not cooperate since we the people own the majority of stock, but don't pass special laws singling out individuals who have not broken any laws other than those of common sense.  Why do we elect these idiots to run the country?  AIG should be bankrupt if not for the bailout, so congress, do your job as majority stock holder and exert control over how the money is used and next time , like NOW, write legislation that you actual read that has a little fore thought.  Don't blame Bush , he only asked you to pass the legislation, you WROTE IT and where are the new " people I keep hearing about who are going to save the day?  Oh yeah, they are the current crop of complainers who failed to do their job too!
