This is truly insulting to the intelligence and ethics of the American people.  What company signs contracts with its employees committing to pay 100's of millions in bonus $$$  REGARDLESS of how badly the individual, the individual's operating division, or the overall company performs.   Besides the notion that a company theoritically needs to make a profit to even have the money to pay for bonuses, this insult does not pass a reasonableness test on so many levels.

These type of shenanigans remind me of the 'bad boy' in high school whose behavior gets worse and worse until the principal finally gets up the nerve to say "enough is enough".  Only then will it stop  ... as will these AIG  type shenanigans when the time comes.  We're all waiting for the 'principal' to stand up and say "Enough is Enough" to these types of obvious outrages.
