Dear Nightline person,
If you are a normal person and an investor, who, for whatever reason, lived on a deserted island for two years, and you returned now to see prices (and your investments) as low as they are, it is almost certain that you will buy everything in sight. Cars, houses, cloths, etc. The only reason that people are not doing so now is that the media and its "experts" are doing a good job scaring everybody and propagating a self fulfilling prophecy. If they only shut up for a week the economy will pick up fast.
