I happened to see the clip you had about Burris and must state those Illinois officials need to get a clue!  95% of Illinoisans want the Governor to leave and yet he stays. Even for my educational expose regarding the state med school (http://www.all4webs.com/5/4/palexa39757/ ), the folks who have contacted me using their real names almost unanimously consider the place a sham and the overall experience I had their a travesty of the educational process. What does the Governor do, he goes there acting like a smart ####.  Even now the man seems mighty clueless.

The people of this state are not well served with clown like officials like this.  I cannot understand why Burris is doing this.  He must feel this is his shot at the big time from being a local politician on the Chicago scene for so long.  I do feel the Senate should not seat him as a matter of principle. There needs to be a message sent to the clueless officials of Illinois that these improprieties have no place in the Senate regardless of the letter of the law legality which Burris seems to be relying on for some reason.  The man seems patently shameless to me when he says he was duly appointed.

Many things are legal that might not be decent and we dont want our public institutions being indecent though legal places.  Take UICOM for instance, they know they can legally get away with this nonsense by virtue of their privileged positions but any reasonable person can see the blatant indecency of it. We don’t want such indecency infecting the Senate.
