Yes, the General should know better than to make statements publicly, or at least to fame hungry journalists, with regard to his chain of command. All who have served in the armed services know you #### up, not down. That being said, this whole deal is yet another example of why Barack Obama should not be the Commander in Chief or POTUS. Just one more notch in his "Destroy the USA at all costs" policy belt.
Some will point out that McChrystal's soldiers are happy about the change as they believe their General set bad policy, but we all know the politicians in power are the culprits of most every screw up in military history. The Global War on Terrorism will never end so long as we have the rating hungry media and #### poor politicians getting in the way daily.
Stan McChrystal exercised his right to free speech in the wrong environment but will remain a hero to many for his many years of service to his country, and for speaking the truth. He has given his country more than the man who fired him ever has or ever will!
