Our President GW Bush said Israel has the right to"defend" itself and that the situation in Gaza is Hamas Fault. I can't argue against Israel defending itself, but IMHO Bush has given Israel the green light to conduct genocide in Gaza. While Hamas have blindly launch scores of rockets at Israel, these rockets have killed what, at my last check 4 people (one soldier and three civilians). And while I feel sorrow for the families of those killed so sensessy by the rockets of Hamas I also feel alarmed by the Israeli response. More than 800 killed many more wounded. Yesterday on French TV I saw a German doctor in Gaza saying that of the wounded 45 percent where women and children. Of the dead 25 percent where children. He said people where dying of lack of medicine and that the hospital was overwhelmed. I just wonder how many more Palestinian families will hate Israel now. Will Hamas fighter recruitment increase after this?
I think our president is dead wrong by looking away at this. He should pressure Israel to show restrain and stop the bloodshed. I don"t think it is constructive towards peace to massacre Palestinian or to reduce to rubble their cities in Gaza. The rocket launchers could have dealt with by other means without going into a full air , land and sea bombardment of Gaza.
