We've sent our forces to Europe and let them invade the continent. They've done yet  again another outstanding job of going above and beyone the call of duty in fighting and destorying the "evil doers" all the way across France. They get to the Rhine River and FDR put's a halt to their advance and elects to institute the "Marshall Plan" in effect 2 - 3 years before it's time.

The good people of France who we find out later don't really care for us as much as we think they do, sit back and accept every dollar we pour in without getting off their duffs and doing some real work.

5 years after putting the early Marshall Plan into operation and our Army of Occupation is still there, Adolph Hitler makes a vist to Paris. Truman who is now Presdient won't even authorize the expenditure for just ONE 45 shell to rid the world of him and makes his Army sit back without taking any action.

It's a sad sad war when the enemy goes from "shooting you the moon" from his side of the battle line to walking right into your camp to do it.
