"Reports flew on the Internet that at least nine of the 34 questions posed via YouTube videos — on topics ranging from corn subsidies to Social Security reform — came from voters who have ties to Democrats or a vested interest in asking the Republicans to go on record."
There are two scenarios for CNN both of offer evidence that the mainstream media liberal bias is more often the rule in all their presentations.
Scenario 1. CNN knew about the background and the bias these questions would pose and allowed as it fit CNN's liberal bias agenda. Again proof that the majority of MSM outlets are biased.
Scenario 2. CNN DIDN'T know about the background. If this is true, doesn't this also speak volumes as to the lack of
journalistic professionalism? Doesn't this show that CNN and the other MSM have an attitude that because it is presented by the MSM it is true?
This CNN debacle is one more of many illustrations as to how CNN and other MSM outlets have biased news presentations which in turn have influenced public opinion.
Another example: Katrina. Most public opinion is it was a FEMA/Bush failure.
This opinion was fostered by CNN and other MSM and here is the proof!
"In fact, the response to Hurricane Katrina was by far the largest--and fastest-rescue effort in U.S. history, with nearly 100,000 emergency personnel arriving on the scene within three days of the storm's landfall.

Are many of the people that make snarky remarks about Bush/Katrina aware of that? NOPE. Again why? MSM bias.
Finally, from the mouth of a MSM editor:
"There is a liberal bias. It’s demonstrable. You look at some statistics. About 85 percent of the reporters who cover the White House vote Democratic, they have for a long time. There is a, particularly at the networks, at the lower levels, among the editors and the so-called infrastructure, there is a liberal bias. There is a liberal bias at Newsweek, the magazine I work for — most of the people who work at Newsweek live on the upper West Side in New York and they have a liberal bias."
