Grey Collar: This describes the workforce of teachers & educators. Their occupation is in the middle between teaching our children to go into white collar or blue collar work. It makes sense.
Abariatric: This is a medical term I'm surprised has not gotten into any medical terminology. Simply put, it just refers to underweight people as opposed to bariatric which is a word referring to the obese. Not all of us who are underweight are anorexics or bulemics. I have a Crohns condition which has kept me 30# under normal weight. My body mass is below the chart. To go into a diatribe of the problems underweight people like myself face would take too long. Suffice it to say that nobody is doing anything really about treating us.
PEA-brain Mentality: This word refers to a much too common problem especially in this country. PEA is actually an acronym for the three occupations we tend to worship too much in our daily lives. Politicians, Entertainers, and Athletes. There is no similar recognition for our own family even when even our kids would rather listen to these people than us. Except for 9/11 which brought attention to our firefighters, this country throws up a blind eye to the common man. Media tends to capture their lives in full but the good and bad happens with all of us so why are blue collar people not heard about more? I seem to think big money has got a lot to do with this. With money comes the power and for most of us struggling, we just don't seem to count til they need our backing. We make them famous and wealthy in our fantasy way of thinking. Now think, do they do the same for us? That's PEA-brain thinking.
