So many are thinking of you and hoping for speedy recoveries. Stay strong. My college age son had a dear friend suffer a serious head injury after an unprovoked assault. He also had the problem with brain swelling and the bone flap surgery. As a nurse, I know that it can be an overwhelming, upward hill towards recovery, but I also have witnessed the miracle of healing where there is love, faith, hope, determination. I pray for health, love, and healing to expedite your recoveries. As news reporters/cameramen - you go where few of us can or even want to go. I have done mission trips abroad and people often say why go? There is a deep desire to help and make visable to the masses, the plight of those struggling, suffering, and in so much need. I think of a few sayings that speak volumes: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has." MARGARET MEAD and "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. Again - be strong and the very best to you as you rest and recover.
