What a waste, two more of Gods children have been injured horribly because Bush lied and started an unjust war. My heart and prayers go out to them, I hope and pray this maddness Bush started will be brought to an end.

Well I guess I must like liars then..... because I believe in what we are doing over in Iraq. I believe the best gift we as a country can give anyone is the gift of freedom!!!! The Iraqi's want freedom. I know this to be true. I know and love several people serving in Iraq and have heard the positive stories they tell when they return home. You are ill-informed and acting like a child because your "guy" didn't end up in the White House ~ and thank God Kerry didn't or he would have enlisted the help of Hanoi Jane to tour Iraq and help the insurgents KILL even more of our BRAVE men and women of the military. Kerry would have turned on the very family he was once a part of..... the MILITARY! Thank God for BUSH.... and if keeping a Republican in the White helps keep our country safer than I hope to God Rudy G. will run for President next... Friggin Demon-crats who treat our military like bastard children.... Yeah well guess what, next time you see someone in uniform thank them for protecting your right to be so stupid!!!!

Actually, if you knew me you would know that my ancestors were Lebanese, my grandparents (on both sides) are 100% Lebanese as well... My Grandfather IS a Marine, who served in the Korean War. My dad IS a Vietnam Vet. I'm not Lebanese-American, I'm an AMERICAN.... just making sure we have that straight! We HAVE relatives in the region, yes and ones that we actually know, love and TALK TO. My aunt is married to a very wealthy man, who operates hotels in the region ~ the Middle East that is. My uncle and his family (also Lebanese) live in France... which I just visited last summer for well over a month. My Uncle and Aunt(in France) interact with Iraqi's on a daily basis.... ALL of which have been very thankful for our troops being there. If you would like PROOF that I am who I say I am, just ask and I will be more than happy to email you the information you need to back up what I am saying. I'm not here to hide behind my computer pretending to be something I'm NOT and talk big "talk," I am more than happy to prove to you that what I am saying is true. Don't misunderstand me either, I'm not saying that ever single Iraqi is happy with the fact that we are there. I am saying that there are more Iraqi's glad that we are there than what the media reports. I'm not here to convince you of anything other than what you choose to believe. It's not my right to put my beliefs of you or anyone else. However, unless you KNOW someone who has served in Iraq, like I DO, then you have NOTHING to base your OPINION on either..... Oh wait, I know, you're getting your information and statistics from our fair and unbiased news media. Silly me.... wonder if you believe everything you read in the National Enquirer as well??? After all, they too must be reporting the truth like the news media right????????

I was a memeber of the United States Army and I showed up for duty. Never snorted Cocaine, never practiced Alcoholism, never lied my arss off to become Gov of Texas, never started any sort of WAR and I certainly never ask my DADDY for a handout(cash). But good ole Dubya did it all. What a winner!

how many iraq civilians have you talked to, i would be really interested in knowing how you form your opinions. its pretty evident once they tear down there previous leaders statue and tell us that they are very pleased with what is happening in their country. But wait Bush couldnt be doing something right for once in the eyes of Democrats.

America is free because good men gave their lives for a cause. I say the people of Iraq must pay the same costs. Too bad we Americans need to put our nose into everybodies business and their OIL.

its pretty evident once they tear down there previous leaders statue and tell us that they are very pleased with what is happening in their country. ---- It's well-known now that the statue business was just as fake as it looked. Very pleased? 84% want us GONE; 64% say it is OK to attack US soldiers. Do yourself a favor and read.

Everybody is out to blame Bush for everything. Bush is right on for doing what he is doing in Iraq Years down the road when Iraq get's settled people like Kennedy and Kerry will eat their words. If you think Bush was a liar what in the world did you think CLINTON was. Thank God for our brave troops and civilians fighting this war.

At a time when all Americans should be pulling together, we are tearing into our President. Doesn't anyone remember Mary Jo and how Sen. Edward Kennedy left her to die and then lied about it? Is that any less a waste of life? Yet, time and again he and his followers berate, criticize and do whatever they can to discredit our President and the Republican Party. I'm sick of hearing it. Thank God for the brave, wonderful men and women who possess the patriotism and courage to perform their jobs in horrible circumstances. May God and the American people never forget their sacrifices and those of their families. Al Queda has promised to obliterate the "infidels" from the face of the earth. Wake up Liberals, YOU are the infidels. Our soldiers are trying to protect YOU and our country.

It is not the responsibility of the United States to attain freedom for ANY country other than our own. We can assist and help monitor elections, but change ALWAYS comes from within. Free elections still can have outcomes that are in opposition to the US's wishes. Just look at Palestine! Now we have a terrorist organization governing them! Good work Bush!

...and by the way...I am a military dependent. I come from generations of military retirees. Many have fought and died for our country. Don't question my patriotism! Thomas Jefferson said, "dissent is the truest form of patriotism".

Lies? Believe it or not the GOP is too smart for that... I did not vote for the President's father because I think it should be illegal for a former Director fo the CIA to be President. I did not vote for the President because I found him to be out of touch with reality. I am not afraid that BUSH and his staff of NEO CONS lied... I am more afraid that they did not...that they knew darn well there were WMD there because they HELD THE BILL OF SALE from when we sold (and GAVE!) the munitions to Saddam when he was fightingf Iran... ...and I am afriad of the same thing they are...IF THEY ARE NOT IN IRAQ...WHERE IN THE HECK ARE THEY? Burried, hopefully, or in Syria, waiting to be turned unto more IED's to be used against our own people... THEY REAL LIE is that our economy is dependent on US FORIEGN ARMS SALES... WANT TO HELP OUT OUR SOLIDIERS IN IRAQ? DEMANS FROM YOU EVERYONE YOU MEET THAT THEY DEMAND AN END TO ALL FOREIGN ARMS SALES OR DONATIONS... HOW MANY MORE SOLDIERS AND REPORTERS HAVE TO DIE FROM WEAPONS THAT SAY "MADE IN THE U.S.A"? BEFORE WE STOP THE TRADE OF THESE WEAPONS AND END ALL TIES TO COUNTRIES THAT WILL NOT FOLLOW SUIT?!?!

Just wanted to say....to all that have posted on this thread....thanks for the debate. Our differences make us all unique individuals, and that's part of the beauty of this country. I meant no disrespect towards anyone, and during my heated exchanges should I have offended anyone I apologize. However..... please understand that we are all entitled to be as passionate about our beliefs as the next person... Good night all....and God Bless our Troops! ~ Always with you on freedoms frontlines ~

What a waste, two more of Gods children have been injured horribly because Bush lied and started an unjust war. They asked for it bys signing up. If your President orders you to die so he and his friend can make some more money, then you MUST die willingly, cheerfully, and with delight.

Interesting... my brother signed up for the Army after 9/11, but I don't think in his contract any where it said he was going to die "willingly, cheerfully and with delight". He felt he had a responsibility to protect his country and the freedoms he enjoys. Is that what he is doing in Iraq? Maybe. One of the problems with Americans is the need for instant gratification. Our freedoms might not be in danger right now, but what says we will always be in the position we are in right now. Did you learn nothing from 9/11? My brother may save your tailend someday because of the work he is doing now. So I wouldn't make statements like "they asked for it by signing up" unless you plan on defending yourself against terrorist and nuclear weapons. Good thing you are free to have your own opinion but you might want to invest more time in making intelligent statements.
