http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=2501824 As if the job isn't already tough enough, 2 leaders crucial to the prevalence of inalienable human rights on this planet are blaming one another for not doing enough to fight extreme Islamists. In fact, President Karzai has accused President Musharraf of ignoring intelligence Karzai provided to assist him. This smacks greatly of Israeli-Palestinian rhetoric, especially during the Begin-Arafat era. Though reported that President Bush was smoothing things over, there is no such evident activity on the President's part. Let us hope he has, or does, and is successful. Afghanistan's struggle for a stable government depends on it. One must wonder if President Jefferson recognized the depth of the wisdom in this statement: "Peace, commerce and honest friendship with all nations--entangling alliances with none, I deem [one of] the essential principles of our government, and consequently [one of] those which ought to shape its administration." http://etext.virginia.edu/jefferson/quotations/jeff1400.htm
