TEHRAN (Reuters) - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad voiced defiance on Tuesday as a deadline neared for Iran to halt work the West fears is a step toward building nuclear bombs, and challenged President Bush to a televised debate. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060829/pl_nm/nuclear_iran_dc_85 Hey, didn't Saddam challenge Bush to a televised debate, and the consequence was the Iraq War...Madmouth ArmageddonJihad ought to be careful what he asks for, he might just get more than he bargained for. http://forums.go.com/abcnews/International/thread?threadID=419180

Why doesn't Bush accept the challenge? It's just a debate. Why can't a civilized discussion take place? Is it because the case against Iran is weak and crippled with conjectures. I can't respect anyone who would choose to avoid discussing the matter at hand.

AKA Madman ArmageddonJihad, and Madmouth I'm-a-damn-nutjob is a megalomaniacal, genocidal tyrant. And it would not be a civil discussion.

zero is probably too young to remember the Ali/Inoki fight. Ali made the mistake of dancing with a fool and they both come out looking even more foolish. Sorry, I don't want my prezz stooping that low.

The fact is that Ahmad the mad deserves no such consideration, Maddog. This debate is really a non-issue for there is no huge calling for Iran to be allowed Nukes. Only people like Zero and they are so disjointed they don't matter.

As ridiculous as it sounds, I can imagine an SNL skit with Bush paraphrasing his famous "Got wood?"... "Got nukes?"

since ahmad is an insane idiot, show the world, surely the west can find an appropriate representative to debate the guy, not condi, maybe bolton? ahmad can only recruit followers from people who already hate america but would'nt a debate/nutshow dampen the drift of america's allies and possibly allign new ones?

Okay, let the games begin. But his opponent has to be a woman who refuses to wear a veil. Let's see what he would say to that. How about one of the Dixie Chicks? Melanie has a nice navel.

Are you serious? Have you seen the interview he did with Mike Wallace? If you saw that you will know that he is not capable of being frank or holding a "discussion."
