I am a 79 year old woman who has several chronic conditions, none of which were caused by anything I did or didn't do.  When I was younger I was very active--skiing, basketball, volleyball, mountain climbing, but osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and other chronic conditions have taken their tole and it is hard to just keep walking and standing.  The media emphasizes food intake and exercise as if it were the cure-all.  People who live long without major health problems are gifted with good genes.  Please do a news feature on someone who has overcome great difficulties and still is able to care for themselves.  Also you did a series on children of elderly, which kind of left out the fact that many elderly make their own decisions and do it with wisdom.
