I have severe Mental Illness's, and, in my estimation the pain of Mental Illness is far more extreme than physical illness. Today, my heart goes out to Marie Osmond for the death of her son.  My sister and cousin died from suicide. I have been in such deep despair that I even tried it. Families need to know that "it is not their fault" nor "there is no way they could stop a determined person from committing this act. It's time people look

at Mental Ilness just as if were Cancer or Diabetes.  Most Mentally Ill people would not think of hurting someone else as their pain is turned inward, toward themselves. It's time all of us feel free to discuss this

type of illness so that ignorant people that "just don't understand" will learn that this illness is real, and it

is very painful, and patients can be helped via meds and counselling. If you are looking for something in your life, consider learning about Mental Ilness and help get the message out that "it is just a disease like any

other so no family or patient feels "ashamed" of being ill.  We all need to understand, help them get treatment,

and for families that experience "Suicide of a loved one" can let go of guilt because it is the illness causing the suicide, not the family.  I wish Marie Osmond sincere peace of mind and a great understanding from the

public and media. If he could, I am sure her son would say "thanks mom" for all you have done for me.

I love you!
