I have a question about the TDap vaccination. I need to know if an adult receives this vaccination, is still possible to be a carrier of Diphtheria and/or Pertussis? Would getting this vaccination prevent my newborn from contracting these viruses from me if I were to encounter them? Or does the vaccination just protect myself from the symptoms? Thank You.
