Hello. I have multiple medical problems and chronic pain that is starting to increase.  I am wondering if the pain is from one or multiple problems.

I have Arnold Chiari Malformation, multiple herniated & bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, fibromyalegia, PARS vertebra fracture, cyst on the spine and conjoined nerve root syndrome.  I have had a craniectomy for the Chiari, but I still deal with issues everyday from the Chiari.  (If you need to know which discs are herniated or buiging I can post all the MRI results).

Over the last 3 yrs the pain that I experience in my back has increased.  The pain in my lower back is getting to the point that when I try and stand up after sitting, it burns and I get a stabbing sensation.  I have to actually place a hand on the area right above the buttocks and put pressure as I stand up, I do not know why this helps sometimes but it does.  If I am really bad I just try to get up and the pain knocks me right back down.  I also have problems when standing, walking for moderate distances, etc.  The pain is also traveling down my right leg all the way to my foot.  Some of the pain/sensations I get in the leg/thigh are throbbing, sharp, weird jolting sensations & at times numbness.  Could all this be caused by one or multiple issues?  I just moved to a new state and I have my first appointment with a new Neurologist 8/21, but it is hard to wait that long when you are not feeling well.  Any insight or information you could give me I would really appreciate!

Thanks for your time,
Niki
