I have been diagnosed with fibromialga for a few years I have gone back to my doctor for it religiously , I have been on a variaty of antidepressionts I am on Feldene every-day for over all pain I have tryed lyirica witch I have an allergy to, tryed skelexion dosent help, flexeril dosen help a little but stays in my system for days and i cant work just sleep...... I have tryed massage therapy , and its so painfulllllllll. I fell like There is no-one out there that can help me , I am realistice and when my pain is a 9 or 10 most of the time alls I wish I could find is something to put my pain in a more toleratable level... I went to my regular doctor a few weeks ago and talked to him about this and pretty much he shuved me out the door and told me he was doing all he could do medically that the FDA has ok:d. My Question is should I seek out  a pain management office ? because I feel like giveing up I hurt so bad and I feel like no- one cares  I just want to lay in the bad and avoid all activitys I love but are excrutiating. My question is very serious and I really dont have any other ideas to help, .     What would you do ? and how would you go about it ?

                                                                                                                              Thank You

Been there. Massage is good. Go to massage school . It's done a little differently for Fibro. Water arobics is good too. I was on Wellbutrin for depression. I only took pain & muscle relaxer . Get a good vitamin . Even though you're in pain , go for walks , swimming, & other  lite exercise including stretches. eliminate all the stress you can. Don't overdo or you'll find yourself bed-ridden for days or weeks. The last two years I worked , I just slept & worked. I got 2 massages a week  & went to the Chiropractor once a wk.. It got to the point I couldn't work at all. My family supported me as I went through the process to get disability. I got involved in some volunteering through my church. This helped my depression. I was only on Wellbutrin  for about a year.  Pain contributes toward depression & fatique, but , eliminating stress [ physical as well as mental]  , exercising & doing things that give us a good feeling will lessen  your pain. Remember, don't overdo it. It will take a conscious effort for you to adjust to that fact. There's no cure, but with positive , healthy, ife style changes  we can live a productive, happy life.   Best wishes, Diane
