Both my middle school age sons have been diagnosed with Type A flu, no testing for swine flu was sent, but they are both being treated as if they had.  According to their doctor they should remain out of school for a week, only returning if they have no fever and no symptoms, such as a cough, headache, for 3 - 4 days.  According to  ABC it was recommended that people can return to work and or school after being fever free for only 24 hours.  Perhaps this is the reason for so many people becoming sick, returning before they are still contagious.
