My mom has heart arrhythmia, more specific tachycardia. She is taking metoprolol and it seems that her heart is fine ( i.e she does not feel her heart racing anymore). However, for few weeks every so often she feels very dizzy, almost fainitng, major heart pain and body shakes. We when to the ER on one of the ocasions this happend and after she was addmited to the hospital the doctors said that this is normal with arrhythmia. We are very concern with the body shakes because the docotrs seemed not too sure about that part of her symphtoms. The shakes she has ( visibly can see her body shake) last for 10-15 min. The last one ( after which we went to the ER ) lasted for almost 2 hours. I did some research online but in all the symphoms listed body shkaes were not ilncluded. Can you please explain if arryhythmia can cause body shaking and how we should proceed with this. Thnak you so much.
