I had a spinal fusion is 2001 and subsequent removal of rods and screws in 2003. Please tell me if it is possible to have the cages removed and a new apparatus inserted in hopes of relieving the chronic pain and all the meds I'm on?  Has anyone ever had their cages removed and another source of intervertibral disk inserted?
