My 29 year old daughter went for a cat scan for what she thought a hernia from over exercise and the cat scan showed she had a separated abdomen from gaining so much weight with her baby...
But that isn't what we are concerned with, the cat scan also show she has"Polycystic Kidney Disease"... She was told that she has numerous cysts on her kidneys.... I of course, right away I went on the internet, and now am beside myself...
She now has a list of Specialists in her area, Lehigh Valley, PA... She seems to be handling it better than me... I want to support but I'm so afraid for her...
Otherwise my daughter is in good health, she eats well and exercises every day... Hoping someone here may have some information to make my the feeling of doom that I can't seem to get over....
To think that I probably passed on to her is making me more and more depressed every day... I never, never heard of this inherited disease... Thank you
