I have been using NORCO for my back and shoulder pain for several years. I was given this drug while I still lived in California. The reason they gave me NORCO is that I have Cirrhosis of my liver due to Hep B and the UCSF pain management suggested NORCO because it had less Tylenol than Vicodin. Now I live in New York and 2 different doctors have told me that NORCO "does" have too much Tylenol and I need to get off NORCO and go to something else The doctors say my liver is in great shape and will probably never get liver cancer as long as it stays the way it is, even though I have been on NORCO for over 5 years. Who is correct about this NORCO issue? Should I find something else? Nothing we have tried works as well. Is there anything like NORCO that does NOT have Tylenol?
