I am a 51 yr old female and was diagnosed with microvascular coronary artery disease, and then HTN  about 5 months ago. I take Ranexa,Norvasc, and Aldactone with HCTZ.  I still experince squeezing pains in my left chest, back and left breast and take nitro when this occurs.  There are some days  that I may take nitro up to 3 or more different times a day, ( one or two pills) is this normal?  I think that I am getting to be pre-menopausal and could this be affecting or aggravating what is occuring?  Would hormone replacement therapy help with this?
