How do we find a doctor that specializes in Diabetes 2 in Los Angeles?  And are there any harmful effect if you just stop taking Avandia?   Presentsl, my mother is taking Avandia 12 years and has asked her Dr. to take her off.  She is DiII and has experienced all the side effects except syptoms of heart failure.  He just tells her not to worry and sends her on her way.  She has decided to not take it for a week and says she feels like a different person?
