I just have a question. Does anyone out there know how I can search for a kidney? Because I need one and I am tired of being on dialysis. I need to find a living donor. If you can help me out  I would very grateful appreciated.

Hi,

If you looking for a kidney, you should post your desire in some of the local newspaper or in some other society network. It's very easy to buy a kidney in China, but the quality seem to be not very good and there is some risk involved. You may go to China and you will have more chance to get a kidney if you really need one. Good luck.

Mike

Thank you mike for your respond. I will look into the newspaper perhaps it is cheaper. I heard about matchdonor.com but it is very expensive to advertise with them.  I just keep on working at it until I find one.

Hi, you don't paid for a kidney. Medicare paid for the kidney and operation for anyone who need a kidney. However, there are cases where the Hospital paid the living donor up to about $30,000.00, if it match, and the person with the new kidney sometime paid for travel expense, food and lodge. It all depend on the Doctor or Hospital.  I am still on the waiting list, but I am thinking about becoming a member of the Matchingdonor.com. I hope I find a kidney pretty soon cause I am tired of going to dialysis. I hope this will help.
