In the upcoming issue of the NEJM there is an article regarding Diamyd which is entering phase three of it's clinical trials and may be a possible new vaccine for type 1 diabetics. Any idea if this drug will be able to be used for diabetics who have surpassed the "recently diagnosed period" of three months or greater? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
