So much for the antibiotic for acute sinusitis back in February - the Zyrtec, Claritin, and verimist nasal spray in May - I have been to ENT for outer ear infection, strep throat test and blood test for same, Skin Dr for patch testing for contact dermatitis (4 allergens include nickel, blue Paris fragrance, cortisone, paraphenoline) - it is September and I am still suffering. I try to run 3 miles 3-4 X a week, and haven't had any shortness of breath when I run. Here are my symptoms. Post nasal drip, sore throat, at times scratchy itchy throat, runny nose, sneezing episodes, the biggest worry is I haven't found relief since February and my chest is hurting. No sign of pneumonia they say. No crackling is heard. Weird part is when I lie down an air bubble inside my lungs traps my air way from getting a breath and its happening when I'm not exerting myself. Hope you can give me some suggestions...
