I have several allergies and during the summer months I have hazy vision in one eye. It seems like I am looking through steamy glasses or cellophane. It is worse first thing in the mourning and gets better during the day if it is not hot and humid. I have tried sudafed, natural tears and the allergy drop, Zaditor and none of these seemed to work to clear the eye.  Is there anything that you would recommend.

Hi rogerjazz367 and thank you for your question. Here's an answer from Stefan Trocme, M.D., Director, Refractive Surgery & Professor of Ophthalmology, Case Western Reserve University:

Your vision problems are potentially serious and are not necessarily related to allergy. Indeed, allergy medications are of no help. It is advised that you make an appointment with an ophthalmologist ASAP.
