My cholesterol has not been able to be controlled by medication because I cannot take any of the statin medications, I react to all them. I take fish oil, policosanol, use benacol, canola oil, pure virgin oil, eat low fat diet, eat oatmeal and all the heart cereals, use fat free milk and everything I am supposed to do. My age is 63 and I still cannot get my cholesterol down. Do you have any suggestions?

I don't know if you've tried Heart to Heart cereal, but it lowered my cholesterol from 174 to 165 in six months.   The change in cereal was the only dietary adjustment that I made during that time.  Worth a shot!
