One of the passages (parables) this guy is referring to must be the one of the talents, one of which some fool buried in the ground and which thus brought in 0 dividends.
I've always thought that this parable was about more than just money. It is about using the "talents" and other advantages God has given us to bless the world.
Although George Gershwin was not a Christian, and certainly no angel in his personal life, I believe God blessed him with incredible gifts because He knew George would make full use of them and thus bless the rest of us with what God had given him, even those of us who were born after Gershwin's death in 1937.
As to the other stuff this man is referring to, i.e. estate tax, minimum wage, etc., I have no idea.
