When questioned by reporters about his comments regarding Mitt Romney he kinda, sorta lost it a little.

"Minutes later, Jeff Zeleny of The New York Times followed up with a question about his outburst, to which Santorum asked, "What speech did you listen to? Stop lying." (watch the full exchange at left)

Pressed further, Santorum clarified that he meant Romney was the worst candidate "to run against Barack Obama on the issue of health care, because he fashioned the blueprint. I've been saying it in every speech. Quit distorting our words. If I see it [in print], it's bull(expletive). C'mon man, what are you doing?"

He needs to learn to keep his cool.  His words were taken out of context.  Learn to live with it if he wants to be President and learn to deal with it in a calm manner.

Would Santorum's little hissy fit indicate he is thin-skinned?    :-)

Santorum laughed the incident off while speaking with the crew on Fox today:

"If you haven't cursed out a New York Times reporter during the course of a campaign, you're not really a real Republican is the way I look at it," Santorum said.

So much for Real Republicans.

"Wouldnt be any different than we have now .. "

Since "what we have now" is not acceptable to you (me either in regard to the reaction to the press) wouldn't you expect a higher standard for the next President?"

So much for Christian conservative...

There is more to Rick than meets the eye. He only thinks he's been picked on...  can you imagine what might fly out of his mouth if he becomes the nominee? The vetting process is brutal.

Hey, at least she's admitting Obama's words are twisted by his opponents.

In all honesty, I do not believe Santorum stands a chance.

It does look as though Mitt may make it but if it goes to the Conference Santorum may still stand a chance.  Kinda a carp shoot at the moment really.

The really conservative south has given Santorum a lot of momentum. Some of the other states might tell the tale, but all in all I still think Mitt will get the nom.

It should remain fascinating along the way.   ; )

That good conservative Christian, She Who Shall Not Be Named, tells Rick "good on ya!" for cussing at the media!
