It is really sad how no one comes here anymore.

We found so many great friends and recipes when
this board was so active.

If anyone can find Kathy;s ribs they are truly delicious.
Great for a Holiday dinner.

Hop,

Barbecued Baby Back Ribs

1) Sprinkle lawry's salt & pepper on both sides of ribs. Sprinkle both sides lavishly well with Old Bay Seasoning.

2) Wrap each slab in plastic wrap, then foil. Refrig for 8 hrs. or overnight.

3) Place on jelly roll pan.

4) Bake foil wrapped slabs @350 for 1 1/2 hrs.

5) Remove wrappings (plastic & foil).

6) Cover slabs with your favorite barbecue sauce (2-3 bottles). I use KC Master Piece, Spicy Original.

7) Bake uncovered an additional 30 minutes, basting occasionally. Can also be done on the grill, following the same instructions and using indirect heat.

Finger lickin' good!

These ribs sound fabulous! I just want to verify one point. Do you really leave the ribs wrapped in plastic and foil when you first put them in the oven?  I would be afraid the plastic would melt into the meat.

I hope you check back soon as I would really like to try this recipe.

Thanks for your help.

I believe the first time I made them I did use the plastic and it does not melt. However, we were advised by a friend who owns her own food business that it was probably not a good idea to use it so I don't anymore. The ribs are great!
