Hello Robin, my question is "When will we open OUR eyes".

When will  our people see that it's NOT the "White Man" any longer it is simply us that is the core to our own problems & issues. I believe that we really need to have a strong voice that isn't afraid to say what is really going on in our race & speak the truth as well address our young men and lady's , simply because they  just don't have an idea of the greatness & potential that they have IF they would just apply themselves & take a long look in the mirror & see their beauty. We are made of beautiful, smart , strong & talented people that  some have fallen in the believe that we can't have or want have anything unless we are rapping or playing football or basketball or selling drugs.

We stood together & voted the 1st African-American President into office that  most of the people is accusing him of all of  the Nations issues which he wasn't the creator of any of it, he just inherited this mess & w/ everything else going negative that we are doing that just gives them MORE fuel to their fire. I again ask "When will we open OUR eyes"? We as parents have to also teach OUR children OUR history, morals & values also self respect as well as respect for our race & others. That there is no such things as talking White or acting white. It is simply about being educated, positive and wanting to have a better life for themselves. There was a time when we stood with our heads held high walked with pride talked with pride and made sure that WE stood strong &  against injustices that was made against us. No one has to lynch us or beat us because we are doing all of this for them.  We have come so far that it is so sad that all of the ugliness that we have is now created by our own. I again ask "When will we open OUR eyes"?
